- 10 IMTOs, 5 fintechs / PSPs, 3 commercial banks, 3 crypto venues, 1 aggregator, 1 central bank. Each provider carries two labels: what kind of institution it is, and what kind of price it publishes (official, interbank, retail, P2P or parallel). Spread is measured within a rate type, and only executable prices are ever ranked as best.
- Why are some rates marked as reference prints?
- A central bank's official rate and a parallel-market print are real prices Modan records, but nobody can transact at them through the publisher. They appear on every corridor page labelled by type, and are excluded from "best" and from spread rankings so a published reference is never recommended as a deal.
- How do I get provider data by API?
- GET https://modan.io/api/v1/providers lists every active provider with its type, region, transfer time and payment methods; GET https://modan.io/api/v1/rates/provider?provider=lemfi returns one provider's current rate on every corridor. A free key allows 50 requests a day, and the MCP server at https://modan.io/api/mcp serves the same data to AI agents.
